Arjowiggins Graphic, the leading manufacturer of innovative environmental paper solutions, is relaunching its Maine gloss, Chromomat & Satimat range, making it the first mid-range coated product to be manufactured with 15% recycled de-inked FSC certified pulp. The new product development is another innovation to be unveiled by the newly created branch of Arjowiggins.
Introducing 15% recycled FSC certified de-inked pulp to the Maine gloss, Chromomat and Satimat range boosts its already strong environmental credentials, while offering excellent printability, opacity, high whiteness and quick drying times.
The recycled FSC certified de-inked pulp used in Maine gloss, Chromomat and Satimat, as well as other Arjowiggins Graphic products, is produced at Greenfield S.A.S. through a unique process pioneered by the company. Ink is removed from the recovered waste (20-30% of which is sourced from the UK, thus reducing landfill), and converted into pulp that is used in the production of Arjowiggins Graphic’s extensive range of recycled papers. This change now means that every product in the portfolio includes recycled fibre as standard.

Each product within the Arjowiggins Graphic portfolio has an environmental declaration detailing environmental information such as carbon footprint, energy and water consumption levels - a first for a paper manufacturer.
Maine gloss, Chromomat and Satimat offers the fastest drying time (the reference standard on the market), very good bulk, high quality and smooth surface with superb reproduction, as well as excellent opacity for heavy ink loads. Maine gloss offers a bright white shade; Chromomat, an unrivalled matt finish; Chromomat Ivoire, a sophisticated ivory shade; Satimat, an exceptional velvet finish and Satimat Naturel, a radiant shade. Papers in the range are available in weights from 90g to 400g.
