Rothera & Brereton has been operating for just over forty years with the same overall business philosophy that was founded on day one - to provide customers, both small and large, with outstanding service from the widest choice of trusted paper and board qualities stocked locally.

We deliver orders within 24 hours by default, and increasingly on the same day – this is what we do day in, day out. It’s the way we have always operated and nothing distracts us from this.

Our business has grown dramatically over the years, in 1964 we held approximately 200 tonnes of stock and 10 reams was a big order – today we hold 5000 tonnes of stock - we still enjoy supplying 10 ream orders and now we think nothing of delivering 23 tonne orders the same day, but we have never forgotten what makes our business tick.

It’s people who make our philosophy a reality, local people, all with a shared passion for paper and an unflinching desire to deliver the ultimate in service for customers.

Each of our strategically located sales, stock and distribution centres in Leeds, Sheffield and Nottingham is staffed by local people – local hands on management and local sales and distribution staff - who together are an enthusiastic and friendly team who take the time to understand their customers needs.

Substantial stocks are held at all three branches, whilst Leeds works around the clock, acting as giant ‘mother’ warehouse supporting the entire network with a highly sophisticated overnight trunking service.

Because we maintain in-depth stocks throughout the region, orders are delivered within 24 hours at worst and increasingly on a same day basis.
