Southern Paper has been operating for nearly sixty years with the same overall business philosophy
that was founded on day one - to provide customers, both small and large, with outstanding service from the widest choice of trusted paper and board qualities stocked locally.

We constantly strive to improve our service to customers and invest heavily in stock, supporting systems and processes to ensure we fulfil our service promise. We now hold in-depth stocks in 4 warehouses strategically situated to be close to our customers.

Our business has grown dramatically over the years, in 1970 we held 150 tonnes of stock and 10 reams was a big order – today we hold over 5000 tonnes of stock - we still enjoy supplying 10 ream orders and now we think nothing of delivering 10 tonne orders the same day, but we have never forgotten what makes our business tick.

It’s people who make our philosophy a reality, local people, all with a shared passion for paper and an unflinching desire to deliver the ultimate in service for customers.

Each of our strategically located sales, stock and distribution centres in Shoreham, Camberley, Canterbury and Southampton is staffed by local people – local hands on management and local sales and distribution staff - who together are an enthusiastic and friendly team who take the time to understand their customers’ needs.

With their extensive product knowledge and a logistics infrastructure second to none, they’re always ready to offer a prompt and efficient response…no matter what the challenge.

Substantial stocks are held at all four branches, whilst two locations, Shoreham and Camberley, work around the clock, acting as giant ‘mother’ warehouses supporting the entire network with a highly sophisticated overnight trunking service.

Because we maintain in-depth stocks throughout the region, orders are delivered within 24 hours at worst and increasingly on a same day basis.
